I'm already a little late in posting this month, being as I want to fill you in on our September happenings. We've had plumbers and electricians working hard to put in some simple hookups for our RV friends. We also acquired an adorable 1963 Aladdin "Magic Lamp" model vintage canned ham trailer! A lovely artist in Atascadero bought it during Covid and put her beautiful touch on it with new walls, paint, and electrical. It's my new personal project to have it up and running as an overnight farm stay option. I'm hooking it up to a ample solar panel and battery kit. An outdoor shower under the trees is also in the works. My goal is to not only offer a completely off-grid place to stay, but to also add some whimsy by decorating and adding elements reminiscent of the late 50's and early 60's. Consider it like a time capsule glamping experience cutting off at 1963 when the trailer was made. More photos to follow as I get the finishing touches on the interior done. We still don't have a name for the trailer, but Blippi comes to mind. Any of you with small children will understand. :)

As always, more to follow. Sneak peek for October: Strawbale building workshop photos!!
