Our Story

The Murrays moved to Paso Robles in 2007. Fifteen years and two children later, we were able to purchase a beautiful piece land on Paso's Eastside in the Geneseo district right on the Union Wine Trail. This beautiful piece of land, with it's tributaries of Dry Creek running through it, a spotted landscape of young and old Blue Oak trees, and wide meadows, mostly untouched for the last decade, spoke to our quiet dream of having a farm. It's a place we hope to share with friends, families, neighbors and visitors.

Where to Start

This land is no stranger to farming and we will continue that tradition with a consciousness of what is useful and will thrive in the dry and warm conditions of the Central Coast, respectful of water needs and limits of the Paso Robles water basin.  We acquired it with a small group of young olive trees and it used to be local site for u-pick pumpkins during the fall. We hope to bring the pumpkins back and we're planning on starting a few fruit trees and some row crops next spring.

What's Next

We bought the farm in the summer of 2022 and we're keeping busy tending the olive trees and setting up some water-wise irrigation. We have a lot of fun and creative ideas while embracing a sustainable and holistic approach to farming, land maintenance and conservation.  Check out our Branch Blog to see what we're up to.
